پایه های نخست گروه صنعتی ایسترم در سال 1370 توسط پدرم مرحوم حاج بهرام پوراکبرنژاد در یک کارگاه کوچک بنا گردید و در آن محصولات سنتی شکری (نوعی شیرینی بنام شکرپنیر) تولید می کرد و هیچ کس پیش بینی نمی کرد که این کارگاه کوچک زمانی به یکی از بزرگترین واحدهای تولید مواد غذایی در کشور و کشورهای همسایه تبدیل خواهد شد.
محصول بعدی این کارگاه آب نبات بود که این محصولات طرفداران زیادی در مناطق کشور داشته و دارد. این کارگاه فعالیت خود در زمینه کیک و کلوچه را از سال 1380 شروع کرد و در مدت زمان کوتاه با توجه به استقبال مصرف کنندگان از طعم و کیفیت و بسته بندی های متفاوت و نوآوری در تولید محصولات جدید در مسیر فعالیت آن و زیر سایه برادران محمد، بهمن، احد، صمد و بهرنگ پوراکبرنژاد توانست دستگاه آلات جدید برای تولید خریداری و انقلابی در توسعه ایسترم به وقوع بپیوندد.
این مجموعه با تلاش و پشتکار مستمر و ارتباطات لازم با مراکز دانشگاهی و شرکت های دانش بنیان توانسته با افزایش تولید و پاسخگویی به نیاز کلیه مشتریان و همچنین حفظ و ارتقای کیفیت محصولات نشان استاندارد ملی ایران ایزو HACCP,22000,9001 را دریافت نماید.
شرکت ایسترم توانسته به یکی از قطب های پیشرو در صنعت کیک و کلوچه در منطقه و کشور نائل گردد و محصولات خود را به کشورهای خارجی و همسایه نظیر آذربایجان، عراق، سوریه، پاکستان، افغانستان، دبی، یمن، بحرین، رومانی، ارمنستان، تاجیکستان، لیبی، روسیه و قطر صادر نماید.
